As much as we long for the comfort of our own bed and the familiar surroundings of home, we can't help but feel a little sad that our adventure has come to an end. But coming home also means being reunited with loved ones and sharing stories and pictures from our travels. We can show off the souvenirs we've collected and relive our favorite moments. And, of course, there's nothing quite like the feeling of slipping into a warm bath or snuggling up on the couch with a good book after a long journey. Returning home after a trip is a reminder that while travel may broaden our horizons, home is what you make it. That sense of coming back home feels so unusual. equal parts joy and nostalgia. Of course, it all depends on what your current situation is in life and what home is for you, but I can't wait to come home after my next trip.
